Tosyali’s subsidiary in Angola, Tosyali Iron & Steel Angola SA (TISA), is set to establish a new integrated steel facility in collaboration with Angola’s state oil company, Sonangol. The facility will be located at the Sacomar Mining Terminal in Mocamedes, southwest of Luanda.
Tosyali is also investing in the region to develop iron ore mines in the Kassinga Region, which holds Angola’s largest iron ore reserves. The project, which has reserves of 2 bln tons, aims to achieve an annual processing capacity of 10 mln tons of high-grade iron ore in two phases. The new steel facility, scheduled for completion in 2027, will form a fully integrated industrial complex, encompassing the entire value chain from mining to steel production.
