Voestalpine secures record high-bay warehouse order for Istanbul logistics hub

Voestalpine has secured its largest-ever order for high-bay warehousing systems, winning a EUR 41 mln (USD 47.7 mln) contract for a major logistics hub in Istanbul, according to the company. The project involves supplying advanced steel-based warehouse solutions for a leading Turkish logistics service provider, with completion scheduled for April 2027.

The order covers the construction of a high-bay warehouse and an automated small-parts warehouse. The facility will reach nearly 40 meters in height and measure 222 meters in length and 86 meters in width, making it one of the largest and most efficient storage installations in the Istanbul region.

The project further strengthens Voestalpine’s position as a global supplier of sophisticated warehouse and logistics systems.

Voestalpine is a global leader in steel and technology, with operations in over 50 countries and a market-leading position in railway systems, tool steel, and special sections.
