Group Five Pipe Saudi Co. has secured a SAR 176 mln (USD 47 mln) contract with Esnad Al Turuq Contracting Company for pipe supply, the company said in a filing to Tadawul.
The contract covers the manufacture and supply of carbon steel helical submerged arc welded (SAW) API 5L pipes for the Ras Al-Khair-Riyadh water transmission project, aimed at increasing the flow of desalinated water to the capital.
The contract became effective in April 2026 and is scheduled for completion by the end of May 2026. The company expects the financial impact to be reflected in its results from the second and third quarters of FY2026.
Group Five Pipe is a major regional supplier of spiral pipes, with five production lines and annual capacity of 700,000 tons. The company is expanding capacity by a further 350,000 tons, which will lift total capacity to over 1 mln tons per year, with the new capacity expected to come online in January 2027.
