Special Steels Factory LLC has secured CARES and Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS) certification for its cold-worked steel wire and welded wire mesh fabric, covering ASTM A1064 Grades 70 and 75 in sizes ranging from 6.18 mm to 10.1 mm.
The certifications support the company’s efforts to meet quality and conformity requirements for products used in the construction sector. Special Steels Factory said the achievement reflects investment in its workforce, facilities and manufacturing capabilities, with testing supported by independent laboratories.
Special Steels Factory LLC is a UAE-based manufacturer of cold-reduced steel reinforcement products, established in 2012. The company produces reinforcement bars, welded wire mesh, plain round bars and compact wire coils for construction and fabrication applications. The company operates four locations, including three in Abu Dhabi and one production facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Its manufacturing operations includes six cold-drawing lines with a combined capacity of 22,000 tons per month.
