Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has opened a new billet sales round, maintaining prices at previous levels.
The company is offering S235JR-grade billet at USD 540 per ton EXW and B420-grade billet at USD 550 per ton EXW.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, wire rods, profiles along with other steel products. The company’s production facilities are located in Karabuk.
