Vallourec has signed a five-year supply agreement with Fervo Energy to support the development of geothermal energy projects in the United States, with the contract representing up to USD 800 mln in potential revenue.
Under the agreement, Vallourec will act as Fervo’s exclusive supplier of US-manufactured tubular solutions and VAM connections, delivered through its distribution partner Sooner Inc. The partnership establishes a fully domestic supply chain for geothermal well infrastructure.
The products will be manufactured and tested in the US, supporting Fervo’s rollout of standardized 50 MW geothermal units. The long-term supply arrangement is expected to reduce supply chain risks, improve project timelines and provide greater cost visibility.
Vallourec will supply premium tubular solutions designed for high-temperature geothermal applications, including VAM high-torque connections. The companies will also collaborate on engineering and technical support, backed by Vallourec’s research and development capabilities.
