Jindal Stainless has entered the retail segment with the launch of its stainless steel rebar under the brand name Jindal Infinity, expanding its presence beyond its traditional business-to-business operations.
The move aims to broaden market access by supplying products directly to builders, fabricators and end users through dealer and distributor networks, supporting wider adoption in residential and infrastructure projects.
The company said stainless steel rebar offers higher corrosion resistance and durability compared with conventional carbon steel, particularly in environments exposed to moisture and chlorides, helping extend the lifespan of structures and reduce maintenance requirements.
Jindal Stainless, India’s largest stainless steel producer, has an annual melt capacity of 4.2 mln tons. The company operates 16 manufacturing and processing facilities across India, Spain, and Indonesia, along with a global network spanning 12 countries. Its product portfolio includes slabs, coils, plates, sheets, precision strips, blade steel, and coin blanks.
