EMSTEEL Group has maintained price stability to support market resilience and ensure continuity of supply across key steel and building materials products.
The move underscores the company’s focus on stable domestic supply and support for customers, partners and broader economic activity amid current market conditions.
As part of this approach, EMSTEEL has kept its rebar price unchanged at AED 2,721 (USD 741) per ton EXW, excluding 5pct VAT, despite rising cost pressures linked to disruptions in regional shipping flows and supply chains.
The company said its integrated operations and logistics capabilities enable consistent delivery, helping to minimize disruptions to infrastructure and construction activity.
“As a national industrial champion, EMSTEEL remains committed to strengthening the UAE’s resilience by ensuring supply stability. Maintaining our pricing during this period reflects our long-term approach and our responsibility to support national development and ensure project continuity across the UAE,” said Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO of EMSTEEL.
The company added it will continue to monitor market developments while maintaining operational flexibility and prioritizing uninterrupted supply.
Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, EMSTEEL has an annual production capacity of 3.5 mln tons of steel and 4.6 mln tons of cement. Its steel segment, Emirates Steel, produces wire rod, rebar, heavy sections and sheet piles.
