Germany-based ArcelorMittal Eisenhuttenstadt, part of ArcelorMittal, has completed the replacement and commissioning of a new suspension system for its 255-ton LD converter (BOF) No.2 in partnership with Primetals Technologies.
The upgrade was executed within 50 days, enabling continued safe and efficient operation of the converter used in liquid steel production.
Primetals carried out engineering, equipment supply and commissioning support, delivering a customized solution that maximized the use of existing equipment.
