Senaat subsidiary secures steel structures contract in Algeria

Advanced Building Industries Company (Senaat) has announced that its Egyptian subsidiary, Zamil Structural Steel Company, has signed a contract with Qatar-based Elegancia Steel Company for the design, manufacture and supply of steel structures and cladding works with insulating panels in Algeria.

The contract, valued at SAR 362.6 mln (USD 96.7 mln), excluding VAT, relates to a dairy and agriculture project for Baladna Algeria S.P.A. in Adrar, Algeria.

The scope includes engineering, fabrication and supply of structural steel for facilities such as cattle farms, milk powder plants, processing units and warehouses, along with associated infrastructure.

Execution of the project is expected to take around 18 months, with work scheduled to begin in May 2026 and key deliverables targeted for completion by November 2027.

The company said the project is expected to support higher sales, capacity utilization and profitability at its Egyptian subsidiary, while contributing positively to Senaat’s overall performance.

SENAAT operates two manufacturing plants in Egypt, serving markets across Africa and Southern Europe.

Established in 1998 and headquartered in Dammam, SENAAT manufactures pre-engineered steel buildings, structural steel, and HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
