Kardemir has reduced wire rod prices, according to its latest price list.
The company is offering 5.5 mm SAE 1006 grade wire rod at USD 632 per ton EXW, while SAE 1008-1010 grades are priced at USD 622 per ton EXW.
Both grades reflect a decrease of USD 13 per ton compared to prices announced in mid-April.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, wire rods, profiles along with other steel products. The company’s production facilities are located in Karabuk.
