Pakistan’s major pipe producer, International Industries Limited (IIL) announced plans to diversify into mining and exploration activities through a proposed joint venture focused primarily on projects in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the company, the initiative forms part of its broader growth strategy aimed at expanding domestic and export operations while exploring new business opportunities.
The proposed venture will be established through a consortium structure, with operations to be managed via a joint venture company. IIL said the initial equity investment by each partner is expected to reach up to PKR 500 mln (USD 1.8 mln)
