Industrias Lopez Soriano, part of the Gescrap Group, has selected Danieli Centro Recycling to supply a new high-performance preshredder for its existing scrap recycling plant in Zaragoza, Spain.
The new unit is aimed at improving plant safety and operational efficiency by ensuring safe de-bulking of incoming scrap, reducing explosion risks, and stabilizing material feeding to the main shredder.
The preshredder is designed to process a wide range of scrap materials, including up to 110 tph of mixed scrap and end-of-life vehicles (ELVs), 100 tph of standard bales, and 90 tph of heavy bales, providing high operational flexibility.
The equipment will feature Danieli’s high-manganese rotors and modular hydraulic power pack, designed to improve wear resistance, reduce maintenance requirements, and enhance plant reliability.
