CIM-Rhino-Metal Care begin production at integrated steel facilities in Umm Al Quwain

CIM Steel Industry LLC, Rhino Steel Industry LLC, and Metal Care Center Factory LLC have launched an integrated steel manufacturing and processing project in Umm Al Quwain Industrial City, UAE, with production commencing across all facilities under a green and energy-efficient manufacturing framework.

The companies said the project involves total investment exceeding AED 440 mln (USD 120 mln) and covers around 1.4 mln square feet of industrial area, with combined annual steel production and processing capacity approaching 1 mln tons.

The integrated industrial complex includes steel melting, cold rolling, downstream processing, and coated steel production facilities aimed at serving regional and export markets.

CIM Steel Industry operates a cold rolling mill complex focused on high-efficiency steel processing, while Rhino Steel Industry has commissioned a fully automatic continuous coating line for Aluzinc coils. Metal Care Center Factory operates a steel melt shop and downstream rolling mill focused on long steel products.

According to the companies, the facilities incorporate energy-efficient operations, recycling initiatives, and zero-waste manufacturing practices in line with the UAE’s sustainability and industrial diversification goals.

The project also aligns with the UAE’s “Make it in the Emirates” industrial development initiative led by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT).
