Turkey’s Kocaer Steel has appointed Mehmet Sevket Erol as General Manager, effective June 1, 2026, according to a stock exchange filing.
The appointment follows the departure of Mehmet Cakmur from the role of General Manager on May 31, 2026. Cakmur will continue to serve as Vice Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors.
Kocaer Celik operates three steel profile plants in Aliaga with a combined annual capacity of 800,000 tons, along with a 180,000 tons per year steel service center and a 100,000 tons per year galvanizing facility.
