UAE’s EMSTEEL Group continues to expand the adoption of its high-strength ES600 rebar across major construction projects in the country, supplying a combined 41,500 tons to developments in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
In partnership with Al Habtoor Group, EMSTEEL is supplying 13,500 tons of ES600 rebar for the Al Habtoor Tower and Al Habtoor Grand projects. The company said the use of ES600 will help enhance structural efficiency, optimize on-site logistics and reduce the projects’ carbon footprint.
Meanwhile, EMSTEEL is also supplying 28,000 tons of ES600 rebar to the Riviera Residences development in Abu Dhabi through its collaboration with MERED. The project is expected to benefit from the material’s higher strength, enabling more efficient construction while supporting sustainability objectives.
EMSTEEL said the growing adoption of ES600 reflects increasing demand for advanced construction materials in the UAE, with the company continuing to support developers through locally manufactured solutions aimed at improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, Emirates Steel has a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons of steel and 4.6 mln tons of cement annually.
