Turkey witnessed a significant increase in HRC exports in April, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In April 2024, Turkey’s HRC exports totaled 175,000 tons, marking a nearly 165pct YoY surge, although they dipped by almost 13pct compared to the previous month.
During the first four months of the year, HRC exports soared to approximately 652,000 tons, showing a 100pct increase compared to the same period last year.
Key destinations for Turkish HRC exports during this period included Italy (133,000 tons), Spain (99,000 tons), and Egypt (81,000 tons).
