Toscelik Spiral Boru has been selected as the winning bidder for Turkey’s state-owned Petroleum Pipeline Transportation Inc. (Botas) tender to supply steel pipes for the LV Yuluce-Pig Sarkoy Natural Gas Pipeline project.
The project is part of Turkey’s natural gas infrastructure expansion aimed at strengthening gas transmission and supply security in the Marmara region.
The company submitted the lowest bid of TRY 224.2 mln (USD 4.78 mln) for the supply of 17,971 meters of steel pipe. The contract is expected to be awarded following the completion of the legal review process.
According to the tender results, six companies participated in the bidding process, while the project’s estimated value was TRY 343.8 mln (USD 7.33 mln).
Toscelik Spiral Boru, a subsidiary of Tosyali Holding, is a producer of spiral-welded steel pipes, with an annual production capacity of around 400,000 tons. The company manufactures pipes with diameters ranging from 16 inches (406 mm) to 126 inches (3,200 mm).
