Noksel to expand pipe production in Spain

Turkish pipe producer Noksel Celik Boru Sanayi plans to invest EUR 60 mln (USD 68.5 mln) to expand its pipe production capacity in Spain through the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Lorca, Murcia.

The project includes a new pipe production plant, similar to Noksel Espana’s existing facility at the Saprelorca industrial estate, as well as a metallurgy and coating workshop. The company is awaiting final approval and expects construction to begin by the end of 2026, with commercial operations scheduled to start in 2028.

Noksel Espana has been supplying welded steel pipes to the Iberian and international markets since 2011. Its existing Lorca plant has an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons of spiral welded pipes for oil, gas and water transmission pipelines, as well as piling applications.

Founded in 1987, Noksel produces steel pipes for both domestic and international markets. The company operates four production facilities, three in Turkey with a combined annual capacity of 750,000 tons, and one in Spain with a capacity of 150,000 tons.
