Turkey’s rebar exports increased nearly 13pct YoY to 2.26 mln tons in the first half of 2026, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, compared with around 2 mln tons in the same period last year.
Yemen remained the largest destination, receiving approximately 441,400 tons, followed by Palestine with 190,200 tons, Peru with 146,100 tons and Romania with 128,800 tons.
In June alone, Turkey’s rebar exports surged to around 479,700 tons, up more than 62pct YoY and MoM, marking a sharp increase in shipments during the month.
