Turkey’s HRC imports declined 7.5pct YoY to 1.73 mln tons during the first half of 2026, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Russia remained Turkey’s largest HRC supplier during January-June, with shipments reaching 409,900 tons, followed by China with 341,800 tons and Malaysia with 277,400 tons.
In June 2026, Turkey imported around 300,200 tons of HRC, up 4pct YoY and 3pct from May.
