Turkish long steel producer, Ekinciler Demir ve Celik Sanayi A.S. increased its revenue by 28.2pct YoY to TRY 11.8 bln (USD 246.8 mln) in the first half of 2026, while net profit declined 1.9pct to TRY 323.4 mln (USD 6.8 mln).
Gross profit increased 28.6pct YoY to TRY 644.4 mln (USD 13.5 mln), while operating profit before financing expenses rose 9.7pct to TRY 416.7 mln (USD 8.7 mln).
The company’s EBITDA increased 4pct to TRY 459.9 mln (USD 9.6 mln), although the EBITDA margin narrowed to 3.9pct from 4.8pct a year earlier.
Ekinciler Demir ve Celik Sanayi A.S., established in 1983 and headquartered in Istanbul, produces steel billets and ribbed reinforcing steel. Its Iskenderun steelworks has annual liquid steel production capacity of 1.4 mln tons, while its rolling mill has capacity of 1.3 mln tons of rebar.
