Al Jazeera Steel strengthens US presence with new subsidiaries

Oman’s Al Jazeera Steel Products Company SAOG has completed the incorporation and legal establishment of two wholly owned subsidiaries in the United States, strengthening its presence and supporting its international operations in the US market, according to a company disclosure to the Muscat Stock Exchange.

The first entity, Jazz Steel Holding Inc., has been incorporated as a US corporation with an initial capital of USD 2 mln and is wholly owned by Al Jazeera Steel Products. The second, Jazz Steel Products LLC, has been established as a US limited liability company with a capital of USD 1.5 mln and is wholly owned by Jazz Steel Holding Inc.

Al Jazeera Steel said the establishment of the two entities is intended to support and facilitate the company’s international operations and ongoing business activities in the United States.

Al Jazeera Steel Products Co. SAOG is a leading manufacturer of tube and structural steel in the Middle East. The company’s facility produces tubular products, merchant sections, and rebars, with four tube-making lines having a total capacity of 300,000 tons per annum. Additionally, the merchant bar mill has a capacity of 300,000 tons per annum. The company exports to more than 40 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and North America, and recently expanded its manufacturing footprint with a new production facility at KEZAD in the UAE.
