Turkish steel pipe producer Erciyas Celik Boru has secured an order to manufacture and supply 516 steel pile pipes for the Kaplankaya Yacht Marina Renovation Project in Mugla-Milas, Turkey.
Production and shipments are planned to be completed by the end of the year, with the order expected to generate approximately USD 9 mln in sales revenue for the company.
The steel pile pipes will be used in marine structures as part of the yacht marina renovation project. Erciyas said the order highlights its capabilities in engineering, manufacturing and project management for high value-added steel pipe applications.
Erciyas Celik Boru, part of Erciyas Holding, specializes in large-diameter welded steel line pipes for the energy, water transmission and infrastructure sectors. The company has annual production capacity of around 600,000 tons and manufactures pipes with diameters ranging from 273 mm to 4,064 mm at its Duzce and Mersin facilities.
