Lamprell has been awarded a contract as part of a consortium with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for a major offshore engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) project in the UAE.
The project involves the development of multiple offshore facilities and upgrades to existing infrastructure. Lamprell will be responsible for the EPCI scope covering a subsea pipeline as part of the consortium.
The award strengthens Lamprell’s position in the UAE offshore EPCI market, where the company has operated for 50 years. The company said the project builds on its experience and local facilities and workforce.
Lamprell provides EPCI services to the global energy sector, supporting both oil and gas and offshore wind developments. The company operates major facilities in Hamriyah and Jebel Ali in the UAE, with additional offices in India and Saudi Arabia, including operations through its joint venture at the International Maritime Industries (IMI) yard.
