Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co. has signed a SAR 103.14 mln (USD 27.5 mln) contract to supply steel towers to a branch of National Power Construction Corporation Ltd. (NPCC) for a 380 kV ultra-high-voltage transmission line project in Saudi Arabia’s Western Region.
The contract runs for one year, with supplies scheduled to begin in February 2027, according to a stock exchange filing.
The company expects the financial impact of the contract to be reflected from Q1 2027. There are no related parties to the agreement.
Al Yamamah Steel specializes in the manufacturing and sale of a variety of products including welded tubes, sheets, rebars, and three-dimensional space structures, primarily serving the buildings and infrastructure sector. The company also produces galvanized steel lighting and distribution poles, high mast structures, and galvanized steel lattice towers for the electrical and distribution industry. Its production facilities are strategically located in Jeddah, Dammam, and Yanbu.
