Turkey’s statistical authority, TUIK, reported a rise in the construction sector confidence index for August 2024, increasing by 1.1pct to 88.0 from the previous month.
The retail trade sector confidence index also grew by 0.8pct to 107.9, while the services sector confidence index declined by 2pct to 111.8.
These indices, measured on a scale from 0 to 200, provide insights into industry sentiment, with values exceeding 100 indicating optimism and values below 100 reflecting pessimism.
