Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has announced its sales allocation plan for October to December 2024. The company has reduced allocations for billets, wire rods, and profiles compared to the previous quarter, while keeping rebar allocations unchanged.
According to the official statement, Kardemir will offer 215,000 tons of billets, 162,000 tons of rebar, 72,000 tons of wire rod, and 109,000 tons of profiles in Q4 2024. The company reserves 30pct of its products for shareholders, granting them preferential purchasing rights.
Karabuk Demir Celik (Kardemir) was established in 1938 as a state owned company and Turkey’s first integrated steel producer. In 1995, the company was privatized. It offers steel products, such as blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products.
