Turkish steel producer Kardemir has raised its billet prices by USD 20 per ton, according to the latest price list.
The new price for S235JR grade billets is USD 550 per ton EXW, while B420 grade billets are priced at USD 575 per ton EXW. These prices reflect an increase from the levels announced on September 26, 2024.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company’s product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
