Tubacex has secured a strategic contract with Petrobras for the Sepia-2 and Atapu-2 offshore gas projects in Brazil. Valued at EUR 64.5 mln (USD 70.4 mln), this agreement reinforces Tubacex’s position as a leading supplier of premium solutions for the global gas extraction industry and contributes to its record-high order book.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2025 as each injector well is completed.
The contract includes over 80 kilometers of CRA OCTG pipes, premium connections, and accessories designed for deepwater extraction at depths of 2,197 meters. These pipelines will connect to Petrobras’ FPSO P84 and P85 platforms.
In addition to material supply, Tubacex will offer logistics, inventory management, on-site dispatch, repair services, and technical support throughout the installation process.
