French energy management and automation company Schneider Electric has opened a new manufacturing facility in Sharjah, UAE. Situated in the Hamriyah Free Zone, this facility will address the region’s increasing demand for AI-powered data center solutions.
The new site will manufacture and assemble AI-ready prefabricated modular data centers, aligning with the UAE’s “Make it in the Emirates” strategy and benefiting from the National In-Country Value (ICV) program. These initiatives aim to bolster the local economy and enhance the private sector’s contribution to the UAE’s GDP, according to the company’s statement.
