Pakistan’s scrap imports rose by 4.68pct YoY in September 2024, as reported by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
The country imported 211,539 tons of scrap that month, compared to 202,078 tons in September 2023.
In the first nine months of 2024, total scrap imports increased nearly 14pct YoY, reaching 2 mln tons.
