Turkish steel producer Kardemir has reduced wire rod prices by USD 10 per ton as compared to the prices announced on October 23, 2024, according to its latest price list.
The company’s new price for 5.5 mm SAE 1006 grade wire rod is USD 650 per ton EXW, while the 5.5 mm SAE 1008-1010 grade wire rod is offered at USD 635 per ton EXW.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company’s product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
