Pakistan’s scrap imports declined by 4.83pct YoY in October 2024, according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
The country imported 228,217 tons of scrap during the month, down from 197,421 tons in October 2023.
In Jan-Oct 2024, total scrap imports increased by 11.6pct YoY, reaching 2.2 mln tons.
