Conares, the UAE’s second-largest private steel manufacturer, has obtained the AFCAB conformity certification from France for its rebar products, the company announced.
“Achieving AFCAB conformity for our rebars enables us to cater to Europe’s broader construction requirements,” the company stated.
The certification, valid until February 28, 2026, underscores Conares’ commitment to quality and global standards.
Founded in 1988 as a steel trading company, Conares has grown into a leading manufacturer of rebar, pipes, and color-coated steel products. With an annual production capacity of 1.5 mln tons, the company is now a key player in the global steel industry.
