Alghanim Industries, one of the largest privately owned companies in the MENA region, has begun construction on a new Kirby Building Systems manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The plant, located in Sudair Industrial City, will focus on pre-engineered buildings (PEB) and structural steel, positioning the Kingdom as a key global supplier of high-quality steel structures.
Spanning 256,000 sqm, the facility is set to enhance Saudi Arabia’s export capabilities with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of structural steel and 100,000 tons of PEB.
Kirby Building Systems already operates manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, India, and Vietnam, with a total production capacity exceeding 585,000 tons per year. This latest expansion will further strengthen Saudi Arabia’s role in supplying engineered steel solutions for warehouses, industrial complexes, oil & gas infrastructure, and large-scale construction projects worldwide.
