Tenaris has announced plans to build a new service center in northeastern British Columbia to support oil and gas drilling operations in the Montney formation.
The new facility will expand Tenaris’s presence in Canada, adding to its industrial center in Sault Ste. Marie, which produces up to 620,000 tons of seamless and welded steel pipes annually, as well as its OCTG finishing facility in Nisku and coating plants in Camrose and Edmonton, Alberta.
Set to boost storage capacity by 7,000 tons by the end of 2025, the British Columbia site will become Tenaris’s third Canadian service center, alongside existing locations in Grande Prairie and Sherwood Park, Alberta.
