Honda Turkiye A.S. will establish a new motorcycle factory in Aliaga, Izmir, to support rising local demand and expand global sales, the company announced.
Driven by growing needs for personal transport and commercial use, especially delivery services, Turkey’s motorcycle market has seen rapid growth. In 2024, Honda Turkiye set a sales record with 162,000 units sold.
The new plant is set to begin production in mid-2026 with an initial annual capacity of 100,000 motorcycles, expandable to 200,000. Total investment in the facility and equipment is estimated at USD 20 mln.
Honda aims to enhance local manufacturing and support the development of Turkey’s motorcycle industry by offering high-quality, affordable, and appealing models.
