UAE-based steel engineering and fabrication firm Ikigai Steel is set to expand its footprint into Canada and Africa, aiming to boost annual production capacity to 45,000 tons.
Operating from its 548,000-square-foot factory in Sharjah’s Hamriyah Free Zone, the company has already delivered over 20 large-scale industrial and commercial projects across the UAE and Gulf region.
The facility features advanced manufacturing systems, including precision laser cutting, automated welding lines, and proprietary 3D steel twisting/forming technology for producing complex structural components.
CEO Rohan Raj credited the free zone’s strategic location and infrastructure for fueling rapid growth, enabling Ikigai Steel to execute major projects and prepare for international market entry.
