Turkey exported about 1.6 mln tons of HRC in the first half of 2025, up 43pct YoY, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Italy was the top buyer, importing 455,300 tons, followed by Spain with 265,900 tons and Portugal with 156,000 tons.
In June 2025, exports reached roughly 272,300 tons, rising 12pct YoY but slipping 7pct from May.
