Turkey’s construction sector confidence index fell 4pct in August 2025, reaching 85.3 compared to 88.8 in July, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Within the subindices, current overall order books declined 1.6pct, while employment expectations for the next three months dropped 6.2pct month-on-month.
The index, based on a monthly survey and measured on a scale of 0 to 200, reflects industry sentiment. Values above 100 indicate optimism, while readings below 100 point to pessimism.
