Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) Chairman Shadi Majali met with a South Korean investment delegation to discuss plans for establishing a steel pipe production facility in the zone, according to the Jordan News Agency. The project aims to support industrial growth and attract high-value foreign investment to Jordan.
Majali highlighted ASEZA’s strategic advantages, including its geographical location, free-trade agreements, and modern infrastructure and logistics network, which position Aqaba as a key regional hub for exports and logistics.
The Korean delegation also visited the Aqaba Development Corporation and toured a site proposed for the project. The visit precedes the completion of technical and economic feasibility studies for the planned industrial plant.
