Al Gharbia Pipe Company LLC has announced a major step toward transforming its pipe manufacturing operations into a fully digital, intelligent, and sustainable system.
In collaboration with duTech, the company is deploying AI-powered vision systems, smart MES integration, and advanced automation to enhance productivity, improve quality, and strengthen worker safety. The initiative, unveiled at GITEX Global 2025, represents a key milestone in enabling the UAE’s Industry 4.0 transformation.
The end-to-end digital deployment, featuring AI vision cameras for manufacturing precision, will help optimize operations, reduce costs, and support sustainable, data-driven industrial innovation. Built on open standards, the solutions reflect Al Gharbia’s commitment to advancing next-generation digital manufacturing.
Founded in 2015, Al Gharbia specializes in carbon steel LSAW pipes, producing sour service line and structural pipes ranging from 18 to 60 inches in diameter with wall thicknesses of up to 44.5 mm. The company is a joint venture between Abu Dhabi’s SENAAT (ADQ), Japan’s JFE Steel Corporation, and Marubeni Itochu Steel.
