Arabian Pipes Co. (APC) of Saudi Arabia reported a nearly 40pct YoY decline in net profit for the second quarter of 2025, driven by a drop in sales volumes, according to its filing with the stock exchange.
Net profit for the quarter fell to SAR 34.43 mln (USD 9.16 mln), down from SAR 57.05 mln in the same period last year. Quarterly revenue also declined by 26.4pct YoY, reaching SAR 254.42 mln (USD 67.7 mln).
For the first half of 2025, APC posted a net profit of SAR 74.6 mln (USD 19.8 mln), marking a 33pct decrease compared to H1 2024. Revenue for the period fell 23pct YoY to SAR 503.3 mln (USD 134 mln).
APC, a manufacturer specializing in ERW pipes and LSAW pipes, boasts an annual production capacity of 160,000 tons and 300,000 tons for ERW and LSAW pipes, respectively. The ERW pipes come in sizes ranging from 6 to 20 inches, while LSAW pipes are available in sizes from 16 to 48 inches. The company operates two factories located in Riyadh and Jubail.
