ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al-Jubail (TPJ), one of Saudi Arabia’s most advanced industrial facilities, has completed the discovery phase of a warehouse optimization project in partnership with Sigma Software.
The initiative, aimed at improving efficiency and reducing complexity in warehouse management, will serve as a blueprint for next-generation optimization and automation. After a rigorous selection process, ArcelorMittal TPJ chose Sigma Software to lead the end-to-end assessment.
Sigma’s team reviewed business processes, mapped requirements, assessed the IT landscape, and benchmarked against global best practices. The outcome provides ArcelorMittal TPJ with a clear roadmap of actionable use cases designed to streamline workflows, enable automation, and deliver measurable operational gains.
By applying proven practices from sectors such as automotive, aviation, and logistics to the steel industry, the project positions ArcelorMittal TPJ to enhance efficiency, resilience, and competitiveness in the regional energy supply chain.
Backed by the Saudi Public Investment Fund and ArcelorMittal, ArcelorMittal TPJ is a major OCTG producer. Since acquiring Jubail Energy Services Company (JESCO) in 2021, it operates two state-of-the-art mills in Jubail Industrial City with a combined capacity of 1 mln tons annually.
