Benteler Group, a global industrial group, serves the automotive, energy, and mechanical engineering sectors, has officially broken ground on its new automotive manufacturing plant in Kenitra, marking a significant boost to Morocco’s growing industrial landscape. The facility is set to begin operations in 2026, with an initial investment in the mid-double-digit mln-euro range.
The project is expected to create over 300 direct jobs, with further employment opportunities anticipated throughout the local supply chain. This aligns with Morocco’s broader efforts to attract high-value industrial investments and strengthen its position as a key automotive hub.
At the Kenitra site, Benteler will produce key components including front and rear bumpers, twist beam rear axles, crash struts, and control arms for a major global automaker. The plant will feature cutting-edge equipment such as a 3,200-ton cold stamping press, advanced welding systems, a cathodic dip coating line (CDP), and a 3D laser for precision manufacturing.
