Bengang Steel Plates Co., Ltd. (Benxi), a leading Chinese steel producer, has successfully rolled its first bar using the new Kocks RSB (Reducing & Sizing Block) 370++/4.
The state-of-the-art RSB is now fully operational at Benxi’s 600,000-ton annual capacity bar mill in Benxi City, Liaoning Province. This milestone is a key part of the company’s strategy to strengthen and expand its market position.
Benxi is one of China’s major steel producers, with an annual production capacity of 10.34 mln tons of pig iron, 12.8 mln tons of crude steel, 15.95 mln tons of hot-rolled materials, 6.17 mln tons of cold-rolled materials, and 1.4 mln tons of special steel products.
