Borusan Pipe posts improved Q1 results

Turkish pipe producer Borusan Pipe returned to profitability in the first quarter of 2026, supported by stronger sales volumes and improved operational efficiency, according to its financial results.

Net profit reached USD 6.3 mln in Q1 2026, compared with a net loss of USD 7.9 mln in the same period last year. Revenue increased by 32.1pct YoY to USD 421.6 mln, while sales volumes rose by 8pct YoY to 280,000 tons.

Borusan Pipe stated that revenue growth outpaced volume growth, supported by an improved product mix, a higher share of value-added products, and disciplined pricing.

For 2026, the company expects sales volumes of 1.15-1.25 mln tons and revenue of USD 2.1-2.3 bln. It also projects EBITDA margin to improve to 8-10pct, supported by continued operational efficiency measures and a higher share of value-added products.
