According to Turkey’s statistical authority, TUIK, the construction sector confidence index decreased in June 2024. TUIK data revealed a 0.5pct decline to 87.9 compared to the previous month.
Additionally, the retail trade sector dropped by 2.6pct to 108.8, and the services confidence index fell 1.5pct month-over-month to 115.4 in June.
These indices, measured on a scale from 0 to 200, provide insights into industry sentiment, with values exceeding 100 indicating optimism and values below 100 reflecting pessimism.
