Turkey’s statistical authority, TUIK, reported a 1.7pct increase in the construction sector confidence index for November 2024, rising to 87.8.
The retail trade sector also saw a 0.9pct rise in its confidence index, reaching 111.7. However, the services sector confidence index dropped by 2.9pct, falling to 111.
These indices, measured on a scale from 0 to 200, provide insights into industry sentiment, with values exceeding 100 indicating optimism and values below 100 reflecting pessimism.
